Judging by the size and scale of the various stands and country pavilions at the show, Korea and the Caribbean are gunning for attention from the fine food industry in 2022's Britain, alongside numerous purveyors or gin and chocolate.
The innovative crispy "salmon crackling" salmon skin snacks (big in Asian markets) from Chew Chew (SGoodsUK) will probably leave a lasting impression. Korean yuzu tea, and cookie-dough covered frozen mochi-ball style treats from Dough-chi (soon to be rolled out to "many" Tesco stores folks) also piqued my interest.
I left feeling rather sick, after mixing too many taster samples, no reflection on the quality of the Show- although some of the jokes on the food demo stage were a bit off-colour. Calling yourself a "girl" to mean wuss isn't cool in 2022.
